Trinity (Prologue 2)

I ran as fast as my feet could bring me to King Gideon's room. Pushing away anyone that was blocking my path, my heart was thumping hard it felt like it could burst anytime.

When I reached King Gideon's room, I saw the King, lying on his bed, unconsious, his eyes were closed, and his face showed agony.

Peter was standing in a corner of the room, he was shivering, his eyed showed fear, really deep fear of something.

'What happened?' I asked Peter, trying to stay as calm as I could.

'Sir, I...I...I was with the King when he died, it was like Black Magic, just as King Gideon wanted to lie down and have a rest, Prince Henry appeared out of nowhere, and stabbed King Henry with a dagger, and then disapeared into thin air.' Peter said, sluttering.

'That bloody Henry! Killing his own brother!' I yelled, I was enraged to my limit. He didn't only kill My King, he killed, my, my friend. Tears streamed from my eyes, Prince Henry never treated me as a servant, but he treated me as a friend, since we were little, I was a floor sweeper back then, even so, he still treated me as a friend, and I really appreciated it.

'Sir,...' Peter said, out of a sudden.

'What is it?' I asked, back facing him, as i didn't want him to see me crying.

'King Gideon asked me to pass a message to you.' Peter answered.

'Go on.' I said.

'The King told me to tell you that you were, is, and will forever be his best friend, no matter where he is.'Peter said.

Once again, my tears went out of control again.

'Sir, The King also told me to pass you a quote or sentence of somekind, it is : BELOW THE TRINITY LIES THE HISTORY OF TRINITY'

'Did he tell you what does it mean?' I asked

'No sir,' he answered.

'Very well Peter, you had done what the King wanted you to do, he will be very happy to know you have carried out your duty well.' I said to him, forcing a smile.

'Yes...yes...Sir.' Peter said, his eyes were glittering.

'Sir, if there is any need of assistance, please do not hessitate to inform me, I will do whatever I can to help.'Peter said, emotionaly.

'I will, Peter, I will.' I said.
